It’s almost time for Open Enrollment! From August 24 through September 4, you’ll have the opportunity to review your benefits, learn about what’s changing for the upcoming plan year, and make any updates that best support you and your family. 

While many benefits remain the same, there are a few important updates to be aware of, including an exciting enhancement to our medical plan lineup. Learn more in Sonny’s Benefits Guide for 2026-2027.

Open Enrollment Period: August 24 – September 4

New Plan Year Begins: October 1, 2026

Highlights: 

• Medical plan premiums will slightly increase for the upcoming plan year
  • We are still offering three (3) plans:
    • Choice Plus HSA
    • Choice 3000

      

    • Surest Zero Deductible New
      • The Surest Zero Deductible Plan, which provides a more simplified healthcare experience with greater cost transparency and predictability, will replace the Choice EPO 1500 Plan 
      • See the Medical page for more information and an introduction on the plan.
• For most benefits, passive enrollment remains in place
  • The exception is team members currently enrolled in the Choice EPO 1500 Plan, who will automatically transition to the Surest Zero Deductible Plan if no action is taken during Open Enrollment.
  • Unless you experience a qualifying life event during the plan year, you may not be able to make changes to certain benefits until the next Open Enrollment period. Don’t wait until the last minute. Be sure to review your options and make any desired changes before enrollment closes on September 4.
